About

I’m a teaching artist based in Southwest Michigan. I teach art courses at Bridgman High School and also serve as a part-time art professor at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor.

I earned my Master of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, where I focused on drawing, painting, and intermedia. As an educator, I’m passionate about helping students build strong technical skills while also discovering their own creative voice and professional path.

Currently, my studio practice is centered on writing and illustrating a graphic novel. This project extends my background in drawing, painting, and intermedia into the realm of narrative and sequential art. Additionally, I continue to create and exhibit work, bringing the perspective of an actively practicing contemporary artist into my classroom.
