This year I gave awards and graduation cords to the seniors who consistently and successfully participated in art exhibitions and competitions throughout their high school careers. Most of these students are pursuing something art-related after High School and I could not be more proud! One of them is off to my alma mater, the University of Toledo next year! Look out for her!

The sixth grade students explored the Krasl Art Center! Students learned about body language in contemporary art and created drawings inspired by the current exhibition! See the art center: Krasl.org

High School students who are currently enrolled in an art class had the opportunity to visit the Krasl Art Center (Krasl.org). The students were led through the gallery by an excellent, knowledgable docent and created figure drawings inspired by the current exhibition, Body Language.
Avid art student and junior, Miss S. Heath, skillfully created a beautiful watercolor painting of Captain Whitaker’s ship for the Three Oaks Museum.
