I approach this work as a meditation on the connection between mind and body. As a competitive swimmer, I am deeply attuned to repetition, breath, and muscle memory, and these ideas translate directly into my drawing process. The layering of translucent surfaces mirrors both the accumulation of physical effort and the persistence of thought, creating works that are ultimately about my experience of drawing itself as an embodied, durational experience.
